About this series
How a faceted trophy differs from a round one
The two shapes share almost the same engraving face: the same flat area in the middle, the same four heights, the same four materials, and the same entry price of 120,000 VND. The whole difference sits in the rim. A round trophy has a smooth curved edge that returns one continuous line of light. A faceted trophy is ground into several angled surfaces, each catching the light at its own angle, so the rim breaks into several separate highlights instead of one.
Choosing between the two is therefore a choice about how the piece reacts to the light where it is presented, not about how much room there is to engrave. On engraving space the two are equal.
When to pick the faceted shape
On a stage with spotlights the faceted shape earns its keep. The recipient lifts it, turns it slightly towards the audience, and the facets flare one after another — cameras catch that, and the photo posted afterwards looks far livelier than a flat clear block.
In a meeting room with even lighting, or when the piece will end up in a display cabinet, that advantage largely disappears. Either shape works then, so follow the brand instead: a round logo sits more comfortably on a round trophy.
One more thing few people weigh: at the same height a faceted block reads as thicker than a round one, because the eye reads its depth straight off the rim. If the budget stops at 16cm but you do not want the piece to look thin, the faceted shape is a cheaper answer than moving up to 18cm.
Which thickness shows the facets best
Facets only look good when there is depth to grind. A 10ly blank gives a narrow bevel you notice only from an angle. A 15ly blank gives a bevel half again as wide, visible as a sparkling rim even head-on. If you are choosing the faceted shape because you like the facets, go straight to 15ly; taking 10ly means paying for a feature you barely see.
Between the two 15ly options, K9 crystal is clearer and has fewer bubbles than K7, so light passing through the bevel comes out cleaner rather than scattered. This is where the difference between K7 and K9 shows most plainly — on a flat round face the two look nearly alike, but along a bevel you can see it with the naked eye.
With 10ly glass the bevel is still there, but the green tint at the edge reads much stronger than on a flat face, because the light crosses several bevelled layers. For a high-volume amateur competition that is fine; for a formal award ceremony it is worth weighing.
Typical occasions
Year-end review
Honour top departments and individuals. Typical order: 30–80 trophies, each engraved with a personal name.
Company anniversary
For staff at 5, 10 and 15 years of service. Usually the taller sizes and thicker material.
Client conference
Thank agents and distributors who hit target. Logo on both sides, partner name in the centre.
Amateur sports event
Internal running, football or badminton events. High volume, so 10ly glass is the sensible pick.
Contests and awards
First, second and third place usually take three different heights from the same series.
Partner gifts and openings
A handful of pieces engraved with a message and a date. No minimum required.
How the four materials differ
| Material | Thickness | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Glass TT-10 | 10 ly | Cheapest, with a slight green tint at the edges. Suits amateur events and high-volume orders. |
| K7 crystal K7-10 | 10 ly | Noticeably clearer than glass. The most commonly chosen tier. |
| K7 crystal K7-15 | 15 ly | Same K7 material but thicker, so it feels heavier and stands more firmly. |
| K9 crystal K9-15 | 15 ly | The clearest, with fewest bubbles. 3D engraving inside the block comes out sharp. For formal ceremonies. |
Laser engraving or colour printing
The same trophy supports both. Pick according to your logo.
Laser engraving
Text and artwork appear as frosted white inside the clear block and never fade. Best for single-colour logos, recipient names and award titles. K9 15ly supports 3D engraving inside the block.
Full-colour printing
Printed directly onto the trophy surface, holding exact brand colours including multi-colour logos and solid colour backgrounds. Choose this when the brand guidelines require exact colour codes, or when the piece should stand out on stage rather than read as clear crystal. Same price as laser engraving.
How ordering works
Pick size and material
Pick here to see the price at your quantity. If unsure, message Zalo and we advise by occasion and budget.
Send logo and name list
Send via Zalo 0966 868 916. AI or vector PDF preferred; PSD and PNG from 300dpi accepted. Name list as Excel.
Approve the mockup
We build the mockup within 30 minutes during office hours. Nothing goes to production before you approve it.
Two-pass name proofing
The name list is checked twice by two different people before engraving. A wrong name ruins the whole piece — it cannot be fixed.
Production and delivery
Up to 50 pieces takes 3 working days to produce; each additional 50 adds one day. Free delivery within pre-merger inner-city Ho Chi Minh City on a run every two days; free to the coach depot for provincial customers.

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order?
Laser-engraved crystal trophies start at 30 pieces. We still take smaller orders, but the unit price is 30–50% higher because setup cost spreads over fewer items.
How long does production take?
up to 50 trophies: 3 working days; 51 – 100 trophies: 4 working days; 101 – 150 trophies: 5 working days; 151 – 200 trophies: 6 working days. Above 200 pieces we quote a separate schedule. Rush orders carry a surcharge.
Can I see a physical sample first?
Yes. From 30 pieces we send a free physical sample to your address before the run, so you can judge clarity and engraving quality in hand.
Is K9 crystal real crystal?
What the market calls K9 crystal is optical-clear lead glass — high clarity at a sensible price. True crystal with 24%+ lead content is a separate premium line at 2–15 million VND per piece. We say this plainly so nobody buys the wrong expectation.
What can be engraved?
Logo, recipient name, job title, award title and date. A different name on every piece costs nothing extra. K9 15ly supports 3D engraving inside the block.
How do I send my logo file?
Send via Zalo 0966 868 916. AI or vector PDF preferred; PSD and PNG from 300dpi accepted. Blurry logos can be re-vectorised for 200,000 VND, free on orders above 20 million.
Can you do a multi-colour logo?
Yes, at no extra cost. Besides laser engraving we print full colour directly onto the trophy surface, holding exact brand colour codes and handling solid colour backgrounds. Both methods cost the same, whether the logo has one colour or many — pick by what suits your logo, not by budget. Send the logo via Zalo and we build a mockup for you first.
Do you issue VAT invoices?
Yes, electronic VAT invoices on request. Send company name, tax code and address when confirming the order; the invoice reaches your inbox within 48 hours of delivery.
What if a name is engraved wrong?
If it differs from the mockup you approved, we remake it or refund in full and cover return shipping. If it matches the approved mockup but you change your mind, it cannot be returned — each piece carries a personal name. Report within 24 hours of delivery.
How far ahead of the event should I order?
Add two things: production and delivery. Up to 50 pieces takes 3 working days, plus one day for each additional 50. Inner-city delivery runs every two days, so add 2 more. A 50-piece order should therefore be confirmed at least 5 working days before the event. Closer than that is still possible, but it means express delivery or postal shipping, and both carry a fee.
How are the trophies packed?
We ask how you will receive the order, then pack for that. Shipping upcountry means extra foam bracing and a larger carton. Collecting yourself on a motorbike or in a car means a compact pack that fits the boot. One chipped corner ruins a crystal trophy, so we ask first rather than packing by default.
Can the base be changed? Does the price change?
Yes. The prices shown include each model's standard base. Choosing a different base changes the trophy price, so send us the base you have in mind via Zalo and we will quote the exact figure.
How much is delivery?
Inner-city Ho Chi Minh City (pre-merger boundaries): free, with no minimum order. We batch deliveries into runs, so inner-city goes out every two days. Provincial customers: free delivery to the coach depot; the coach fare and collection at your end are yours to arrange. If you are in an area newly merged into Ho Chi Minh City, message us on Zalo to confirm first. For postal delivery to the provinces, ask us about timing and cost before confirming so the order does not miss your event.
